Shooting for Law

Shooting for Law

Mel Rose is a Soccer fullback… who wants to be an Administrative Lawyer, a lawyer who works in the civil and financial sphere. She met a professor who came from the Admin Law background at Newcastle University who inspired her to pursue the career… Although she hasn’t started just yet. Right now she’s studying Journalism, and finding her excitement wherever she can. A self-confessed thrill-seeker, Mel went skydiving in Wollongong with the North Beach skydiving company, and says she loved every minute of it. She’s also an art lover, painting abstracts in her spare time and inspired by Augusta and Renoir.

Staring me Down

Staring me Down

Sam Johnson is a feminist. A passionate Feminist. She’s not afraid to admit it and she’s not ashamed of it. She’ll stare down anyone trying to put her or her beliefs down. Coming from a farming background, Sam speaks about the need to think of the farmers and animals involved when banning live cattle export. Her family suffered greatly when the ban was put in place, and many animals died with no place to go and no money to feed them. Sam hales from Berry, describing her politics as Green/labour but not particularly happy with either party. She’s currently studying Communications and Media and wishes to be a screenwriter.
